TENNIS stars, VIPs and officials will be ferried to this year's Wimbledon championships in a fleet of cars supplied by Jaguar.

The British luxury brand has been appointed official vehicle supplier to the All England Lawn Tennis Club for the tournament which runs from June 29 to July 12.

Jaguar will supply a fleet of 170 vehicles for the event including the new XE sports saloon as well as XF, XJ and XF Sportbrake models.

The announcement was marked by an event at the SW19 complex hosted by Laura Schwab, UK marketing director at Jaguar Land Rover and herself a former international tennis star with Jaguar brand ambassador Jose Mourinho and former British number one tennis player Tim Henman.
