SUBARU has used its home motor show in Tokyo to show off a new design that will become its face of the future.
The company took the wraps of a new Impreza five-door concept car which reveals a sharply styled front with more angular body cuts.
There's also a new look to the headlamps which the brand says is a modern take on Subaru's trademark ‘hawk eye' lights seen on Imprezas of old.
A revised hexagonal grille is another new feature while at the side and back the concept car has pronounced, aerodynamic lines giving it a ground-hugging stance.
A hint that Subaru was about to update its design came with the release of the new Levorg estate a couple of weeks ago but no date has been given for when the first of the all-new models will appear.
