KOREAN car maker Kia has a new take on luxury SUVs with a concept model that is larger than its current Sorento flagship.
The design will have its debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit which starts on January 11.
With pronounced wheel arches and angular lines, Kia says the concept is aimed at the premium 4x4 market and comes only weeks before it is due to launch its new medium-sized Sportage SUV in Europe.
The concept car has been designed at Kia's studios in California where the current Soul crossover was created.
The company says there are no immediate production plans for the larger SUV which would be likely to be targeted at markets outside Europe.
