AUDI has created a one-off, built-to-order, six-seater luxury version of its already spacious flagship A8 L for a mystery customer somewhere in Europe.

There's no shortage of space in this unique motor which measures 20.9 feet in length and with a wheelbase of 13.8 feet and has a sunroof measuring almost eight feet.

Audi experts invested almost a year in developing and building the exceptionally long luxury saloon.

The result was an exclusive one-off specimen that meets all the standards of the normal production model.

Named the XXL, the saloon appears in a moonlight blue metallic finish and the six forward-facing seats are upholstered in extra-supple Valcona leather, in velvet beige.

Rows two and three feature electrically adjustable individual seats. The third row has a continuous centre console, a Rear Seat Entertainment display and a cool box.

The one-off A8 XXL is powered by a 3.0TFSI engine developing 310bhp which propels the big saloon from 0 to 62mph in 7.1seconds and up to a top speed of 155mph.

An eight-speed tiptronic gearbox transfers power to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system.

The price of this super Audi has not been disclosed.
