FRENCH sister brands Peugeot and Citroen are coming to Britain to give world reveals of their latest Expert and Dispatch vans when the CV Show opens at Birmingham's NEC.

The newcomers will feature new technologies and design features as well as functions that are new to the van market.

They are the first offer hands-free sliding side doors and for the driver a head-up display, as well as other technologies to make working lives easier and safer.

Designed with a wide range of professionals in mind including trades people, construction workers, local authority employees and delivery and service professionals, the new Dispatch and Expert will be available in van, combi and crew van versions, as well as being specified in three lengths (4.60m, 4.95m and 5.30m).

As well as the hands-free sliding doors and the colour head-up display other new features include Driver Attention Alert, Active Safety Brake, sat nav and MirrorLink systems and a wide range of optional extras to suit professional needs.

Both vans will be powered by either 1.6 or 2.0-litre diesels with power outputs ranging from 95 to 180bhp and with emissions as low as 133g/km which equates to 55.3mpg.

The global reveal of the new vans will take place at the opening of the CV Show on April 26.
