GROWING demand for onboard technology has seen French luxury car brand DS introduce a new high tech trim level on its DS 3 range of hatchbacks.
The new Connected Chic trim features full smartphone hook ups such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as sat nav and a seven-inch full colour Mirror Screen display.
Priced from £16,115 it will sit between the current Chic and Performance Line trim levels in the DS 3 range and also comes with two-tone paint jobs, 17-inch alloys and with plenty of black gloss finishes on the interior.
DS says that the extra equipment included on the Connected Chic models would cost £2,000 if added separately and that the new level is priced at £900 more than the current Chic grade cars.
The new trim will feature across the line up of three PureTech petrol and one BlueHDi diesel engines used in the DS 3 with prices topping out £17,975 for the 100ps diesel and £18,915 for the 110ps PureTech version fitted with a six-speed automatic gearbox.
