MAZDA'S latest top-of-the-range Mazda6 models will cost from £23,045 when they arrive in British showrooms in the summer.
Available in both saloon and tourer body styles, the latest range will feature an upgraded cabin, revised styling and enhanced technology.
It will also bring the company's latest 2.5 litre petrol engine, which features cylinder deactivation, to the UK for the first time.
It's not a new idea by any means but Mazda says the new four-cylinder power unit seamlessly switches between four and two-cylinder operation at speeds between 25 and 50mph to improve real-world fuel economy at no cost to performance. The new engine is paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox in both Saloon and Tourer models.
Priced from £23,045 to £32,795, the combined Tourer and Saloon range features 24 models across four trim levels.
In addition to the new 2.5-litre engine, the company's two-litre petrol unit has been enhanced with new intake ports, new pistons and revised fuel injection and cooling while the 2.2-litre diesel now produces 184ps - up from 175ps - in its highest state of tune.
All models will come with a wide range of advanced technology including blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, radar cruise control, lane keep assist and advanced smart city break support.
