Renault Laguna Sport Tourer 2011

FANS of Renault's stylish Laguna Hatch and Sport Tourer models can enjoy savings of up to £1,855 on the 2011 models which go on sale next month.

The stablemates made their world debuts at the recent Paris motor show and now the French manufacturer has released UK pricing and specification.

There's a simplified range structure with three trim levels - Expression, Dynamique TomTom and GT Line TomTom - and prices from £17,795.

Entry grade Expression now includes Arkamys 3D Sound single CD/radio MP3 with Bluetooth and fingertip control, 16-inch alloy wheels, air con, aux input, ESC and front fog lights.

Predicted best seller the Dynamique TomTom adds extra kit like automatic parking brake, headlights and wipers, cruise control, chrome twin exhausts - excluding dCi 110 - dual zone climate control, electrically heated and folding door mirrors, hands-free keycard, rear parking sensors and speed limiter.

They also get Carminat TomTom Live, the latest edition of Renault's integrated satellite navigation system with traffic info, weather forecasts and speed camera locations - free for the first three months and expected to be around £60 a year after that.

Range topper the GT Line TomTom benefits from 18-inch Interlagos dark finish alloy wheels, BOSE sound system with 10 speakers and amplifier, 4Control four-wheel steering on the dCi 180, pearl black electric folding door mirrors with memory, and leather and alcantara upholstery with electrically adjustable heated front seats. There are also several option packs.

The 2011 Laguna range also benefits from a series of engine enhancements, resulting in reduced emissions and greater fuel economy.

They include Euro 5-compliant powerplants, plus ten ‘eco' branded versions with sub-140 grams COcovering each of the dCi 110 and 150 diesel-engine variants.

Among the most prominent changes are the least emitting 1.5-litre dCi 110 which now emits less than before at 120g/km. The 2.0 dCi 180 has also gone down by 13g/km and the 2.0 16V 140 petrol by 7g/km.

And on the economy front, the dCi 110 is now able to achieve 60.1mpg on the combined cycle, up from 57.6, while the dCi 180 has risen from 45.6 to 49.5mpg.

Prices are from £17,795 for the Laguna 2.0 16V 140 Expression hatchback model and Sport Tourer versions costs £1,100 more.
