Legacy Tourer range

Subaru Legacy Tourer 2.0i ES Nav

SUBARU has added a new ES Nav version as the entry point to its five-strong Legacy Tourer range.

Priced at £21,995, the ES Nav comes with a 150PS 2.0-litre petrol engine and the choice of a six-speed manual gearbox or Subaru's optional Lineartronic CVT transmission.

As with all Subarus, the Legacy boasts permanent all-wheel drive, lightweight Boxer engine and low centre of gravity.

A colour satellite navigation system is fitted as standard, with a list of features like touch screen control, CD/DVD playback, integrated Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and steering wheel mounted controls.

Other standard features on the ES Nav model include automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, remote central locking, dual zone climate control, one-touch fold down rear seats, alloy wheels and electrically adjusted driver's seat.

The six-speed manual Legacy ES can accelerate to 62mph in 9.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 120mph. It returns 32.8mpg on a combined cycle and produces 199g/km of CO.

The CVT model is slightly slower off the mark at 11.3 seconds, has the same top speed, produces 187g/km of CO and has a combined fuel consumption figure of 34.9mpg.

An all-new platform has resulted in significantly increased dimensions including an 80mm longer wheelbase, giving the latest Legacy Tourer more presence on the road than its predecessor

It has also recently been awarded a 5-Star Euro NCAP crash safety rating.
