Smarter look for

SEAT Exeo saloon

SEAT has created a new more upmarket look for its executive class Exeo saloon and ST estate range - plus some new engineering upgrades.

A revised Exeo face with new bi-xenon headlights and LED daytime running lights, which are standard on Sport models, will make a public debut at next month's Frankfurt Motor Show.

The styling enhancements are boosted by new alloy wheel designs, while the interior gets smarter leather on the steering wheel and revised upholstery for a more premium feel.

Improvements to the SEAT saloon and estate's 2.0 TDI common rail powerplant now see emissions cut to 129g/km, while economy is similarly improved to 57.6mpg on the combined cycle.

Next year the Exeo family will get Start/Stop technology on an Ecomotive model, for better fuel efficiency, and the Spanish company is targeting an ambitious CO figure of less than 120g/km.

The Exeo is now the brand's third best-seller in the UK behind the Ibiza supermini and Leon five-door family hatch. Prices are from £19,285.
