Eterniti unveils its
Super-SUV
NEW British boutique car company Eterniti Motors has revealed a full-on glimpse of the car it promises will bring new levels of luxury and performance to the SUV scene.
Named the Hemera, the model will be shown in prototype form at next week's Frankfurt Motor Show ahead of full production in 2012.
Eterniti, London-based and backed by a group of international investors, is calling the new hand-built car the world's first Super-SUV - with 620bhp on tap and a 180mph top speed.
It will feature a limousine-like rear cabin, including twin electric reclining seats, iPads and a drinks chiller, giving customers the option of being chauffeured as well as driving.
But its relatively compact dimensions, 4x4 ruggedness and dynamic performance make the Hemera more practical than a limo.
Eterniti's engineering team is led by Alastair Macqueen, who was responsible for the development of the Jaguar XJ220 supercar to production and has won the Le Mans 24-Hour race with both Jaguar and Bentley.
And former F1 driver Johnny Herbert - winner of three Grands Prix during a 10-year career - will have an active involvement in developing Eterniti vehicles as well as serving as an ambassador for the brand.
