A FULL colour display screen more than a foot wide will be a feature of the new Lexus GS executive saloon when it goes on sale in the summer.
It is the biggest screen fitted to any car so far and sees the luxury Japanese brand throwing down the gauntlet to BMW.
The entry level GS 250 SE will be priced from £32,995 pitching it directly against the BMW 5 Series.
Hybrid versions of the GS will cost from £44,995 with the top range GS 450h Premier tipping the scales at £50,995.
The V6 powered 250, available in SE, Luxury and F Sport trims, marks the return of non-hybrid powertrains in the GS range.
All models include leather upholstery, dual zone climate control and digital radios while mid-grade Luxury versions will include advanced safety systems including blind spot alerts as well as sat nav.
The F Sport versions, priced from £39,995, have additional body kit and include adaptive suspension.
Premier specification will be available only on the 450h hybrid and offers additional interior features such as triple zone climate control, a Mark Levinson sound system and the colour display screen which measures 12.3-inches.
