GIVING it large will take on a whole new meaning at Chevrolet dealers soon - as much as 1,478 litres of large, in fact.
That's the available load space in the new Cruze Station Wagon which will go on sale in the autumn with a choice of three engines and three trim levels with prices starting from £15,375.
The entry-level LS, has a 124PS 1.6-litre engine and comes with an impressive spec, including air conditioning, follow-me-home headlamps, electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors, front electric windows with ‘express down' facility, roof rails, rear and boot 12v power sockets, cargo restraint hooks, remote central door locking, electronic boot release, ESC and traction control.
The LT model adds a leather steering wheel and gear knob, front fog lamps, rear parking distance sensors, cruise control, electric rear windows and 16-inch alloy wheels to the mix, and is offered with a choice of 1.6-litre, 124PS petrol, 1.8-litre, 141PS petrol (auto) or 1.7-litre 130PS diesel engines.
The top model in the line up is the LTZ NAV, which gets a seven-inch colour display screen, sat nav, Bluetooth, rain-sensing wipers, an electro-chromatic self-dipping mirror, automatic lighting control, rear parking sensors with rear view camera, electronic climate control and 17-inch alloys. It comes with the 1.7-litre 130PS diesel engine only, coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox.
