Subaru's all-wheel

drive for sales

Subaru Outback

A NEW range of finance offers has been launched by Subaru, with many of the manufacturer's All-Wheel Drive models now available with two years' interest-free credit.

The initative is aimed especially at the Japanese brand's heartland buyers, living in the countryside and semi-rural areas.

And while newly launched sports car the BRZ is not part of the deal, every other base level model across the Subaru range is available with two years zero-interest - including the new Subaru XV crossover.

Customers taking up the zero per cent offer must provide an initial 50 per cent deposit and pay the remaining half at the end of the two-year term.

Subaru says that existing trade-ins can also be used as part-payment of the deposit against a new model.

Higher spec models qualify for interest-free credit over one year, while low-rate finance - at 3.9 per cent APR - is now available for Personal Contract Purchase buyers with smaller deposits.

The new finance offer also coincides with the company offering 24-hour test drives on all versions of the Legacy and Outback models, with the insurance covered by Subaru UK.

Subaru's UK chief Darren James said: "Allowing prospects to take the car away for 24 hours is to allow them to really get under the skin of our cars, and give them the opportunity of living with the vehicle throughout a typical day.

"With the 24-hour test drive combined with the new finance offers available, we hope to be able to encourage more people to give Subaru a long hard look."

All new Subaru models benefit from the company's Everything Taken Care of aftercare package, worth more than £700 and covering the likes of minor dent and scratch repairs, alloy wheel repairs, monthly wash, annual valet, lost keys replacement, service collection and delivery, annual wheel alignment check, first MOT cover and winter wheel and tyre storage.
