PROTON, the Malaysian car maker, boasts it has a model to suit a range of budgets with the current line-up including the five-door Savvy city car which weighs in from £7,995.

That's followed by the sporty Lotus inspired three-door Satria Neo at £8,495 and the new Satria Neo Sport at £9,495.

The five-door GEN-2 family hatchback is priced from £9,195 and the four-door GEN-2 saloon at £11,195 with the LPG dual fuel GEN-2 ecoLogic range priced from £11,195.

Giving real value for money, Proton is continuing to offer a free leather upgrade, worth £1,000, on the 1.6 GSX ecoLogic and the GEN-2 1.6 GSX.

The firm has recently linked up with Close Motor Finance, one of the fastest growing independent point-of-sale finance providers in the UK, to offer a flexible approach to finance for customers hunting a deal across its 75-strong dealer network.

Simon Park, general manager sales and marketing for Proton Cars (UK) Ltd, said the company was on course to roll out new models including the much awaited seven-seat Exora compact-MPV which is setting out to rival the likes of the Vauxhall Zafira but priced from around £13,000.
