The Juke may be the first Nissan to get the Nismo treatment but there's another offering in the wings.
It's billed as the ultimate Z car and is a 344ps version of the Nissan 370Z.
With the standard model rated at 328ps the performance of the 370Z is a claimed 5.2 seconds 0 to 60 - 0.2 of a second quicker.
The 370Z Nismo will be available later in the year as a coupe only with a six speed manual gearbox.
The Nismo engineering team has adopted high rigidity brake hose and high performance brake fluid from Nissan's R35 GT-R to improve stopping power while a special exhaust system enhances and amplifies the sound of the Z's 3.7-litre V6 engine.
As with the Juke, the 370Z Nismo has a more aerodynamic approach to styling with front and rear spoilers as well as uprated chassis and suspension.
Other design features include the Nismo red pinstripe lines and 19-inch alloy wheels with sports-derived red brake callipers and high performance tyres.
Inside the steering wheel is finished in Alcantara with a red race-inspired ‘top dead centre' marker, as fitted on the Juke Nismo, and the sports seats are fully electric with Nismo badging stitched into the upholstery.
