Alfa Romeo MiTo Live

ALFA ROMEO has launched a new limited edition model that combines safety and technology with a passion for music.

Called the The Alfa MiTo Live and costing from £16,590, the model has been created for drivers who like to stay connected and entertained on the move.

It comes fitted with a high fidelity BOSE sound system and Pioneer's AppRadio set-up which lets users connect and access their smartphone apps via a seven-inch multi-touch screen.

Beneath the Live model's bonnet is an 875cc TwinAir Turbo petrol engine producing 85bhp and boasting fuel economy of 67.3 miles per gallon and low CO2 emissions of 98g/km.

Kit includes Alfa Red special paint with contrasting gloss black roof, wing mirrors and door handles, 17-inch titanium Sport alloy wheels, a sporty rear bumper, spoiler, carbon look dash and tinted windows plus titanium grey surrounds on the lights.

Aimed at drivers aged between 17 and 25, the MiTo Live - which is limited to 250 cars - will be offered with optional Marmalade telematics-based cover, potentially reducing insurance premiums by up to 50 per cent.

Unlike many black box policies, Marmalade's telematics-based insurance starts drivers on a lower premium with no curfews, penalties or extra charges for driving at night.

Online feedback allows drivers to review their journeys at any time and there are e-learning modules for developing safer driving skills.

Finance packages on Hire Purchase start from zero per cent with a 45 per cent deposit required.
