MICRO car brand smart is planning to make fans of the Mercedes-owned marque right at home, courtesy of its latest special edition.

Called the smart fortwo BoConcept signature style model, it has been designed in tandem with Danish urban interior design specialist BoConcept.

It is based on the smart fortwo passion 84bhp turbo version and allows its occupants to experience the comfort and individual style of a modern living environment on the move.

Fusing BRABUS details with BoConcept design, it comes with a front spoiler, side skirts, Xclusive headlights and the BRABUS sports package of sports exhaust system, Monoblock VII alloy wheels and sports suspension.

Body panels are finished in matt crystal white - the finish a nod to exclusive matt surfaces found in unique home interiors - and the contrasting colour is matt oriental brown metallic.

 The dark shade references the wood colours of the furniture world and features on the tridion cell, door mirror caps and alloy wheels.

And light lemon striping sets off the mirror caps and alloys, while the soft top of the cabrio is brown. Coupe versions get a panoramic roof.

Inside, the seats, door trims, dashboard and steering wheel are covered in tobacco brown leather, there's BoConcept letteringe on the black velour floor mats and the seats while an oak insert on the gearknob - the first time wood has been used in a smart - completes the interior.

Standard kit includes a multimedia/navigation system with 6.5-inch touch-screen, Bluetooth, AUX/USB and iPod interface and a CD/DVD player, electric power steering, auto air-con, ambient lighting, heated seats and LED daytime running lights.    

Prices for the smart fortwo BoConcept signature style start from £22,135 for the coupe and £24,515 for the cabrio.
