Audi TTS Roadster Limited Edition

EXCLUSIVE versions of the Audi TT coupe and roadster are being released by the German car maker to mark half a million sales of its popular two seater.

A limited run of 500 versions of the special TTS cars will be available and of those only 120 will be made for the UK.

Priced from £38,860 for the coupe and £42,320 for the roadster the cars come with individual paint jobs - grey for the coupe and yellow for the open top.

With a premium of £2,815 over the regular TTS models the limited edition cars include bespoke leather trim, 19-inch alloys, sat nav and a Bose sound system among extra features.

There's also a numbered plaque in the cockpit to mark the exclusivity of the specials.

The TT was first launched in 1998 with the second generation car arriving in 2006.

The TTS is powered by a two-litre turbo engine developing 272ps which results in a 0 to 60 performance of 5.3 seconds when fitted with Audi's S tronic twin-clutch transmission. Fuel economy is a claimed 36.7mpg with emissions of 179g/km.
