Big Apple beckons
for Jeep fans
SPECIALIST 4x4 brand Jeep is bringing some extra Stateside cheer to buyers of its Grand Cherokee off-roader.
From now until March 24, customers who buy a new Grand Cherokee will also receive two free return flights to New York.
The deal is part of a link-up between the SUV manufacturer and leading airline Virgin Atlantic to mark the new March registration period.
The first quarter of 2014 has already proved significant for Jeep as the diesel version of the brand's new Cherokee along with the all-new Renegade were revealed last week at the Geneva Motor Show - but the company's headliner is the full-blown Grand Cherokee.
With 247bhp on tap from the 3.0-litre V6 turbodiesel engine, the model combines power with four-wheel drive and boasts significantly lower emissions than its predecessor as well as Combined fuel consumption of up to 37.7mpg.
Jeep's UK chief Damien Daly said: "The Grand Cherokee already offers outstanding value for money and my advice to customers is: get behind the wheel and try it for yourself. If you buy one, we'll help you celebrate with complimentary flights to New York."
The range starts at £37,695 for the 3.0 V6 CRD Laredo model rising to £50,295 for the 3.0 V6 CRD Summit.
