City slicker with
heaps of flair
CITROEN'S new-look city slicker the C1 will cost from £8,245 when it arrives in showrooms this summer.
A trio of trim grades comprise Touch, Feel and Flair, with the new open-top Airscape versions specified in Feel and Flair trim.
Available with three and five doors, the line-up kicks off with the C1 Touch VTi 68 manual three-door model rising to the flagship Airscape Flair VTi 68 ETG five-door at £11,935.
Eight body colours comprise four metallic options, along with three wheel designs and four interior upholstery finishes while the fabric roof will be available in three colours - Black, Grey and Sunrise Red - for the Airscape models.
Power comes via two latest-generation petrol engines - a VTi 68, available with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed clutchless Efficient Tronic Gearbox, or as an e-VTi 68 Airdream five-speed manual with Stop & Start technology.
There is also the addition of Citroen's latest three-cylinder 'PureTech' VTi 82 engine with a five-speed manual transmission.
Lead-in spec features anti-lock brakes, power steering, high frequency remote central locking, electric front windows, six airbags, an MP3 compatible audio system, USB socket and LED daytime running lights.
Moving up to Feel grade adds air-con, DAB digital radio, seven-inch Touch Drive interface with Mirror Screen technology and steering mounted controls, along with body coloured door mirrors and door handles.
Top spec Flair brings 15-inch alloys and additional features including a speed limiter, rev counter, reversing camera, electrically heated and adjustable door mirrors, a leather steering wheel and dark tinted rear windows.
Optional extras include automatic air-con, auto headlights, keyless entry and start plis styling details like black leather upholstery and interior colour packs.
