ADAM completes a
Grand Slam
A NEW flagship version of Vauxhall's chic urban car the ADAM made its UK debut at the Autosport International 2015 show at the Birmingham NEC.
Named the ADAM Grand Slam, the range-topper was previewed at both the Geneva and Frankfurt motor shows and features sharp design and a 1.4-litre turbo powertrain.
It also gets a specially-tuned chassis and a VXR braking system.
With 150PS on tap, the new version of the Turbo ECOTEC petrol unit in the Grand Slam boasts a specific power output exceeding 100PS/litre and has been exclusively developed for the Grand Slam.
The front lip spoiler, side sill mouldings and extended rear bumper cut-out with a visible exhaust tailpipe make the bodywork appear more muscular then a standard ADAM.
In fact some 10 body paint choices and four further roof combinations are available with the Red ʼn' Roll roof design reserved exclusively for ADAM S customers, while a rear spoiler above the rear window and a special pillar logo complete the look.
Inside the vehicle, the driver and front passenger can choose between four seat arrangements, three of which are exclusively available for the variant, including Recaro Performance seats in Morrocana or nappa leather.
The interior also reflects the Red 'n' Roll design, with the optional leather package including black and red steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake in leather, or red and white lighting for the instrument panels and doors.
