Infiniti reveals Q60
sports coupe
INFINITI has revealed its Q60 concept at the Detroit Motor Show ahead of the full production model's launch next year.
The luxury Japanese brand describes the model as its ‘new take on a captivating two-door sports coupe' and reiterated its plan to expand into smaller premium vehicles like the upcoming Q30.
On the outside, the Q60 Concept has a road-hugging stance with deep recesses in the body sides while the cabin features high-quality finishes like a handcrafted leather-wrapped instrument panel and steering wheel to quilted seat stitching.
Power comes via a new generation 3.0-litre V6 engine with direct injection and twin-turbocharging - part of a new family of lighter, more efficient powerplants.
Infiniti president Roland Krueger said: "Design is a key driver for developing a strong brand and the Q60 Concept is another building block in Infiniti's quest to refresh its portfolio with a strong and consistent design language.
"And in 2016, we will launch a new model heavily inspired by the Q60 Concept."
