A NEW flagship model, the Dynamique S TCe 90, has been added to Renault's Twingo city car line-up.

It features the previously optional Sport Pack of exterior styling and interior trim upgrades and is powered by the 90bhp 0.9-litre TCe  turbocharged petrol engine fitted to the former top model, the Dynamique TCe 90.

Standard features unique to the Dynamique S include aluminium pedals, red/black part leather upholstery and a red interior touch pack plus 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, matt black side decals and an exterior touch pack in red, with white as a no-cost option.

The red interior pack adds finishing touches to the steering wheel, centre console and air vents, while the exterior touch pack does the same for the front grille insert, door mirrors and side door protectors.

Dynamique S buyers will also get LED daytime running lights, front fog lamps, electric heated door mirrors, cruise control, a lane departure warning system, leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearshift knob, air-con and white instrument backlighting.

As is the case with every new Twingo, there's also stuff like electric power steering, electric front windows, a trip computer and gearchange indicator.

And unique to the city car scene is a folding front passenger seat and a split-folding two-seat rear bench.

The 0.9-litre TCe turbocharged engine develops 90bhp and can accelerate from 0-62 in 10.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 103mph.

With engine Stop & Start as standard it has the potential to return an average 65.7mpg - and more than 50 mpg in urban city use - while CO2 emissions of 99g/km to put it in VED Band A for free road tax.

Pricing is £12,545 with first deliveries expected in April and crystal white, diamond black or flame red paint colours are available.
