THESEAT Mii is a small car I could easily live with, thanks to its comfortable ride, sweet sounding engine, decent performance and superb economy.
If you're going to stay close to home, the 60bhp model might be OK but if you're contemplating longer forays out into the wild blue yonder, go for the more powerful 75bhp model.
The engine is the same 1.0-litre three cylinder in both cases and when I drove the 75bhp model recently, I sent it back with some regret.
Oddly for a city car and most unlike the last Seat attempt the Arosa, either model will seat four in comfort. But they can't carry five because there are only four belts.
Road holding and handling are brilliant, with huge grip that goes on forever and less roll that I expected considering the soft ride.
The rear windows in the five door don't wind down and that's pretty cheapskate in my book, when they do in cheaper cars.
Base S models have folding rear seats, CD player, body coloured bumpers, four airbags, and traction control.
SE adds air con, alloys, front electric windows, height adjust driver's seat and remote locking.
