SSANGYONG's newly introduced Tivoli compact SUV looks even better value for money for buyers who can complete a deal before the end of the month thanks to a special offer which will enable them to upgrade the spec of their car for half the normal price.

The special offer is one of a series being offered on the Korean built cars until the end of September and is available on the 1.6 litre petrol version of the Tivoli.

Biggest saving is on the SE version which can be upgraded to EX spec with a saving of £825 while upgrading from EX to ELX offers a saving of £700. The British importer has also halved the price of upgrading from manual to auto transmission on the EX version, saving buyers £500.

The upgrade from SE to EX adds grey or beige leather upholstery, 18" alloy wheels, dual zone climate control, seven inch touch screen smart audio system with rear view camera, heated front seats, front fog lights and a luggage load cover.

The top of the range ELX spec features diamond cut alloy wheels, a smart instrument cluster, smart keyless starting, front & rear parking sensors, privacy glass, rear spoiler, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, full TomTom navigation system with seven inch touch screen, and a rear view camera.

Meanwhile, customers buying a Korando SE or SE4 model during September will get a free upgrade to the equivalent SE Touring or SE4 Touring spec, worth £500, which includes the addition of roof rails, front fog lamps and a load area cover.

SsangYong Rexton buyers haven't been forgotten - until the end of September the Rexton will come with a 3-year free servicing offer. The same offer is available for buyers who purchase a Tivoli on a Personal Contract Plan.
