THE Volkswagen Touran medium-sized MPV is getting some sporty tweaks for the spring with the arrival of R-Line models.

It is the first time the German brand has added the upgraded trim level to the Touran range which sees the cars coming with more aerodynamic bumpers, side skirts and some interior changes.

Those include distinctive trim inserts, R-Line badging and motifs and different coloured stitching as well as metal pedals and sill cappings.

The R-Line models are priced from £27,740 for a 1.4-litre TSI version to £31,505 for a 2.0-litre diesel with a six-speed DSG transmission making them the most expensive versions of the current Touran line-up which costs from £19,740 for a 1.2-litre petrol model.
