A SPECIAL edition of the Suzuki Jimny is being launched with a production run of just 200 models for the UK.

The Jimny Adventure is based on the top specification SZ4 version of the hardy little SUV and comes with 15-inch alloys, air conditioning and privacy glass as well as imitation leather upholstery.

Extras fitted for the special version include sat nav with Bluetooth, a two-tone paint job and a toughened spare wheel cover with its own Japanese Adventure logo.

It costs from £14,949 - £1,000 more than the SZ4 - and like other Jimny's is powered by a 1.3-litre petrol engine which returns a claimed 39.8mpg with a CO2 figure of 162g/km while still being a highly capable off-roader.
