New Picasso on
Citroen horizon
NEW versions of the Citroen C4 Picasso and the bigger Grand C4 Picasso MPV are on the way.
The C4 and Grand C4 Picassos have been given a new front end, new standard specification 3D-effect rear lights and 17-inch alloy wheels, plus a two-tone roof is available on the C4 Picasso five-seat and there is a new silver coloured roof bar option for Grand C4 Picasso, as well as three new body colours.
Inside, the new models have been kitted out with a 3D Citroen Connect Nav system, which is combined with an updated seven-inch touchscreen.
This new system also enhances the functionality of the 12-inch HD screen on the upper part of the dashboard.
It also comes with a hands-free tailgate, which allows the driver to open the boot with a simple movement of their foot at the rear of the vehicle.
In addition the new C4s come with high tech gear including Speed Limit Sign Recognition, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Active Safety Brake, Driver Attention Alert and Active Blind Spot Monitoring.
The range is also being extended with new powertrains which include the 1.2-litre PureTech 130ps petrol engine with an automatic gearbox.
Citroen says that fuel consumption for both the five and seven-seat models is rated at 55.4mpg with COemissions of 115g/km.
Prices for the new line up, which will be available come September, have yet to be announced.
