Renault revamps Clio

Renault Clio, 2016

A FRESH faced Renault Clio has been announced as the French car company marks 25 years of its favourite supermini with a makoever of the current model.

The new Clio comes with a redesigned nose, LED headlamps and will be available for the first time with Renault's latest 1.5-litre 110 dCi diesel engine mated to a six speed manual gearbox.

Another change to the power line up sees Clios fitted with the Tce 120 petrol engine also available with manual transmissions in addition to the current auto models.

New options include automatic parking and a BOSE sound system as well as a number of new paint jobs including red, white and blue finishes and restyled alloy wheels.

The revised Clio will be on the road in late October and Renault says it will be announcing prices during the summer.
