Mazda2 has red
letter day
MAZDA is offering a special edition supermini but only 400 versions of this up-market Mazda2 are being offered - and it goes on sale from September 1.
It's called the Mazda2 Red Edition and is based on the 90bhp SE-L Nav Mazda2 model.
The special comes with extra equipment and offered with a choice of Snowflake White Pearlescent or Black Mica paint, and the Red Edition's design cues include 'Soul Red' accents on the wing mirror covers, rear spoiler and rear underskirt and the sporty look can be enhanced with optional £300 Dark Gunmetal 15-inch alloy wheels.
Inside, the red theme continues with red cloth seat trim, red knee pad inserts and red door trim inserts, while a red and white panel on the dash adds a large sweep of colour across the dash.
Power comes from Mazda's 90bhp 1.5-litre SKYACTIV-G petrol engine which is rated at 62.8mpg and COemissions of 105g/km.
The Red Edition is priced from £14,995 which is £600 more than the regular model.
