A RAFT of revolutionary, high-tech driver aids are being promised by Land Rover in its latest Discovery which is revealed for the first time today ahead of its world premiere at the end of the month.
The company says that this latest fifth generation Disco will feature "technology like no other" and that the new full-sized, seven-seat SUV has been engineered and designed with "absolute versatility and capability in mind, combining British desirability with an unstoppable spirit of adventure."
This latest version of the legendary off-roader will, says Land Rover, "continue the Land Rover Above and Beyond journey".
According to Gerry McGovern, Land Rover's chief design officer: "New Discovery redefines the large SUV. Land Rover's design and engineering teams have revolutionised the Discovery DNA to create a highly desirable, extremely versatile and hugely capable premium SUV."
Initial details are scant, but expect further information to be leaked on a regular basis before the new Discovery's world premiere on September 28 ahead of the Paris Motor Show.
