A NEW Korando SUV from SsangYong has made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show with the new model featuring additional safety equipment.
The new Korando has a new front look with a revised shoulder-wing grille and headlight arrangement while safety has been improved with the addition of a front view camera - a first in this class of SUV.
European sales are set to commence from the second quarter of 2017 and the new Korando has been designed for young families with an active lifestyle.
The car features daytime running lights comprising 11 high-luminescent LED lamps with separate lenses to improve visibility, new 18-inch diamond-cut wheels and a new ergonomically designed steering wheel.
A seven-inch colour display screen is fitted to the centre of the dash with satnav and full connectivity sytstems available.
The new Korando is powered by a choice of a turbo-charged, Euro 6 compliant 2.2-litre diesel or 2.0-litre petrol engines both available with either a six-speed manual or optional six-speed Aisin automatic transmission and the Korando can be had either with two or four-wheel-drive powertrains.
