A STUNNING array of automotive exotica will be on display at the Performance Car Show which opens at the NEC in Birmingham next week.

The show, which runs over the weekend of January 13 to 14, will include the first public appearance of the British-built BAC Mono - the world's only road-legal single seat supercar which can accelerate from 0 to 60 in just 2.8 seconds.

Other home-grown muscle machines to be seen include the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 - the fastest production car ever to lap the Nurburgring - and the McLaren 570S GT4.

Fans of German technology will be wooed by the Porsche 991.2 GT3 and Volkswagen's track only Golf GTI TCR.

Lesser known creations will see a specially-commissioned Lamborghini Aventador from tuning specialists Liberty Walk EU which will also be showing off 5.0-litre V8 Ford Mustang boosted to 418bhp, while custom car company URBAN Automotive will unveil a special edition of the Range Rover Velar.

The Performance Car Show takes place alongside the annual Autosport International event at the NEC and tickets are priced from £33.
