STEALTHY is hardly an adjective you'd associate with a 200mph McLaren, but that's how the company describes a sinister-looking new special edition model which has just come out from under the radar.

If you've got £179,950 to spare you can have it any colour you like as long as it's black - and you'll be one of only100 owners worldwide.

Produced by the company's bespoke Special Operations (MSO) division, the 570GT MSO Black Collection has what the company calls an all-black, stealth design with even the ignition key and exhaust pipe finished in black.

The exterior is finished in Carbon Black, a striking and extremely deep colour, developed specifically by McLaren Special Operations. The stealth theme extends to the MSO Defined Black Pack replacing standard-fit Dark Palladium components including front and rear splitters, side skirts and air intakes with black.

Completing the look are lightweight wheels with a new gloss black diamond finish and black brake calipers.

The inside story continues the theme with jet black leather and carbon black Alcantara® accents on the centre tunnel, lower instrument panel, headliner, steering wheel and speaker surrounds. A Panoramic Roof incorporating UV-filtering black privacy tint glass is standard.

But there's more to this very special McLaren than cosmetic enhancements. The car features carbon-ceramic discs combined with a new sport pack, which gives customers sharper dynamic settings.
