JAPANESE car maker Mazda has announced another Sport Black special edition model, this time with the Mazda3.

Priced from £21,595 the Mazda3 Sport Black comes with 18-inch black alloys and trim highlights including a black roof spoiler.

With a limited run of 700 models in the UK, the Sport Black is powered by a 120ps 2.0-litre petrol engine giving it a top speed of 121mph and a 0 to 60 acceleration time of 8.9 seconds.

Fuel economy is rated at 55.4mpg with emissions of 119g/km.

It Is based on the Mazda3 SE-L Nav and extra kit includes a reversing camera, LED highlights with an adaptive front lighting system and keyless entry.

The interior features a heated steering wheel, BOSE Surround-Sound System, cruise control and dual-zone climate control.

It is also fitted with Mazda's MZD-Connect system, a seven-inch colour touchscreen display and has integrated navigation as standard.

Mazda has also recently announced a special Sport Black edition of the smaller Mazda2 which is priced from £15,995. Both models are on sale now.
