IT'S getting dark at Mercedes-Benz dealers throughout the land as Nightfall approaches.

No it's not a freak weather event - it's the impending arrival of new special edition versions of the C-Class which go on sale this month with a variety of midnight-black add-ons.

The new C-Class Nightfall Edition is available in all body styles and with a choice of two diesel and one petrol engine at prices from £32,565 for the C 200 Nightfall Edition Saloon.

The special edition models come with powder coated matt black wheels, matching black wing mirrors, black graphics, a carbon rear spoiler on Coupé and Cabriolet models and a choice of Iridium Silver, Selenite Grey or Obsidian Black metallic paint.

All come as standard with AMG Line spec including black ash wood trim, AMG flat-bottomed steering wheel, AMG body styling, 18-inch five-spoke alloys, sports suspension and a diamond grille with chrome pins on the Coupé and Cabriolet.
