AUDI is upgrading its A4 saloon and estate car range with a new look and sat nav now standard across the range.

The mid-life makeover for the A4 will be introduced later in the year and sees the car getting more angular lines, more pronounced side skirts and on the Avant estate models special finishes for the air inlet grilles.

High grade S line and Black Edition models get their own treatment at the front with a honeycomb grille and new look bumpers with sizeable air intakes.

Sport and S line models also come with larger 19-inch wheels while at the rear there's a new-look diffuser on S line cars.

All versions of the A4 will now come with sat nav with SE models getting Audi's MMI SD card-based navigation system which sees the existing five-inch monochrome screen replaced with a seven-inch colour display.

There's also upgrades to the multi-function steering wheel while Sport specification now includes four-way lumbar adjustment for the driver and front passenger seats and auto-folding door mirrors.

The current A4 line up starts from £27,815 for the saloon and £29,255 for the Avant. Prices for the new models are still to be announced.
