It will be joined by F Sport models priced from £33,900 and the range will top out from £39,100 for high specification Takumi versions.
All will be powered by Lexus' hybrid powertrain which uses a 2.0-litre, four cylinder petrol engine mated to an electric motor. The car will be badged UX 250h.
Front and all-wheel-drive models will be available with the latter using Lexus's lightweight E-Four system which provides electric motor drive to the rear wheels.

The UX will also be fitted with the second generation of Lexus's Safety System+, a new navigation system, dual-zone air conditioning and 17-inch alloys.
Key features for the F Sport include 18-inch alloy wheels and a front spindle grille, plus F Sport front seats, rear privacy glass, heated, power-adjustable front seats and a heated steering wheel.
The UX Takumi, named in celebration of Lexus's skilled takumi craftsmen, has leather upholstery, integrated front seat ventilation, a bespoke Mark Levinson 13-speaker Premium Surround Sound system, 10-inch multimedia display, 360-degree camera, driver's head-up display, sunroof, blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert with braking function.
The car is due to be launched in March, 2019.
