ISUZU is picking up the pace in the pick-up truck market with yet another special version of its multi-award-winning D-Max.

Called the D-Max Fury it won't be in dealerships until January next year, but the British importer reckons demand will be so high for the limited number of examples on offer that it has already opened the order books.

Priced at £22,499 excluding VAT, the Fury will come with an extensive range of unique features, inside and out. Only available in an exclusive red paint finish it is fitted with 18-inch, dark grey alloy wheels and a dark grey radiator grille, gun metal side steps, folding and heated, black door mirrors with side indicator repeaters, black handles on the doors and tailgate and a distinctive Fury decal on the front doors.

Inside there's dark grey cloth upholstery and interior trim with red overstitching on the soft pad armrests and steering wheel plus Fury-branded carpet mats. Black and red leather upholstery is available as £1,000, plus VAT, option.

Standard kit includes manual air conditioning, reversing camera, a seven-inch multifunction colour touchscreen, CD player and USB ports both front and rear.

Sales of the D-Max have been healthy so far this year, helped by a series of awards including being crowned ‘Pick-Up of The Year' at the 2018 WhatVan? Awards, ‘Most Reliable Pick-Up' for 2018 by Professional Pick-Up & 4X4 magazine, ‘Best Workhorse Pick-Up' for 2018 by Trade Van Driver and ‘Best Pick-Up 2018' by Scottish Field.
