A DRESSED up version of the Hyundai i30 Fastback will be arriving next year with the Korean car maker announcing N Line versions.
The N Line trim features exterior and interior design elements carried over from the N models -Hyundai's high-performance range - and include refined chassis and suspension settings to achieve a more sporty driving feeling for the 1.4-litre T-GDI engine.
The upgraded exterior design of the i30 Fastback N Line derives from the i30 Fastback N, recently presented at the Paris Motor Show.
It includes a front bumper accented with a silver character line and Hyundai's signature grille with mesh pattern as well as black bezels frame the head lamps.
At the rear, N Line trim has the sporty rear bumper from the i30 Fastback N with a red reflector line, a triangular fog lamp and a special rear diffuser.
An N Line badge is positioned on the front wings while in the interior there are N-style sport seats and a sport steering wheel. Metal pedals and the N gear shift knob are also part of the N Line enhancements.
As well as the dynamic changes the i30 Fastback N Line with the 140ps 1.4-litre T-GDI petrol engine also comes with an added exhaust sound and sits on 18-inch alloys with PS4 Michelin Performance tyres and enlarged brake discs.
With the launch of the new model Hyundai has also expanded the engine line-up for the entire N Line range with the 1.0 T-GDI petrol engine delivering 120ps.
The smaller three-cylinder engine version comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and the same design refinements as the higher-powered versions.
The N Line changes are purely cosmetic and performance data for the cars is unchanged.
Prices for the new models have still to be announced and the cars are due to arrive around spring next year.
