VOLKSWAGEN is making its Amarok pick-up posh with the launch of a special edition Aventura model.
Complete with leather upholstery, 20-inch alloys, a state-of-the-art navigation system and specially designed comfort seats, the Amarok Aventura costs from £39,960 excluding VAT.
The truck also comes with body coloured sports bar with Aventura badging and chrome-plated side bars with step and LED spot lighting.
That's on top of a Lights and Vision package which includes automatic headlights with separate daytime running lights, a coming home feature and windscreen wiper intermittent control with rain sensor along with front fog lights with cornering function as standard.
Volkswagen says the Aventura is the most luxurious Amarok ever and it's powered by a 258ps, 3.0-litre V6 diesel with four-wheel-drive.
The engine can pump out 272ps when using the overboost function and it generates 580 Nm of torque between 1,400 and 3,000 rpm with an eight-speed automatic gearbox.
VW is also offering the Amarok Aventura with the option of a reduced price of £2,355 (excluding VAT) for special matt body colours - a saving of 24 per cent - as well as specially made roll top covers in black of silver for an extra £1,387.50.
