AUDI is expanding the choice of sporting and luxury trim option across more and more models in its range with the launch of additional Black Edition and Vorsprung variants.

The Black Edition option, which builds on the S line sports specification, is now additionally available for Q2, A5 Coupe and Sportback and Q5 models. At the same time, the new Vorsprung equipment package, which is already available for the Q7 and Q8 models, can now be specified for the A5 Coupe, Sportback and Cabriolet, the Q5 and the A7 Sportback.

In the Q2 and Q5 models and the Coupe and Sportback versions of the A5, Black Edition specification brings larger 19-inch or 20-inch - depending on model - alloy wheels in gloss black, a black styling pack plus darkened rear privacy glass. Inside, decorative inlays receive the same darkening treatment and the addition of a flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel.

Audi bills the Vorsprung models as offering the ultimate specification with additional comfort and comfort convenience features and greater technological sophistication.

The luxury package expands significantly on the Black Edition specification with an upgrade to 20-inch, 21-inch or 22-inch alloy wheels in either matt grey or matt titanium, again depending on model, advanced Matrix LED headlights, adaptive comfort suspension with damper control, panoramic glass sunroof, sensor-controlled boot opening, Bang & Olufsen audio on some models and virtually all of the latest assistance systems from Audi's technology portfolio

Prices for the Black Edition range start at £26,845 OTR for the A3 Sportback 30 TFSI Black Edition, rising to £67,295 OTR for the Q7 50 TDI quattro Black Edition. The Vorsprung range starts with the A5 Sportback 35 TFSI Vorsprung, priced at £48,875, and runs through to the Q8 50 TDI quattro Vorsprung priced at £83,040 OTR.

The Vorsprung name is taken from Audi's brand advertising strapline ‘Vorsprung Durch Technik', meaning advancement, or progress, through technology.
