ALFA ROMEO is revamping its' Giulietta compact sports saloon range with a number of cosmetic changes inside and out and new trim designations.
The new six model range is made up of Super, Speciale and Veloce variants with a choice of three new power units - 120hp 1.4 litre petrol, 120hp, 1.6 litre diesel and a 170hp, two litre oil burner which is only available on the range-topping Veloce model.
Most models come with manual transmission but the 1.6 diesel can be ordered with Alfa's TCT dual clutch auto transmission. The same transmission, with paddle shifters, is fitted as standard to the Veloce.
Prices start at £19,750 for the 1.4 petrol Super model which comes as standard with cruise control, dual zone air conditioning, front fog lights and rear parking sensors.
Speciale variants, starting from £21,450, come with a number of cosmetic exterior and interior embellishments while the £25,850 Veloce flagship model is fitted as standard with front and rear parking sensors, electrochromic rearview mirror, electrically folding wing mirrors, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers and a 6.5-inch multimedia and audio system including navigation.
The new range will go on sale in March following its debut at the Geneva motor show.
