THE new Porsche 911 Cabriolet, unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, will top 186mph and fold its roof in 12 seconds on the move at up to 31mph.
Four months after launching the new 911 Coupe in Los Angeles, the Cabriolet arrives - with the S model features a 450 horsepower twin-turbo engine that delivers top speeds of over 186mph and acceleration of 0-62mph in less than four seconds.
There's a new eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and with the Porsche Wet mode engaged, Porsche says the car has even safer handling on wet roads.
This latest version of a soft-top 911 (the first appeared 30 years ago) features a roof made predominantly from magnesium, whose rigidity prevents the roof from ballooning even at high speeds.
