PRICES for the new Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe will start from £30,550 and top out at £33,640 when the model arrives in the next few weeks.
Only petrol engines will be available initially with the 15 model range kicking off with 1.3-litre verions developing either 136bhp in the CLA 180 and 163bhp in the CLA 200.
The CLA 200 is priced from £32,100 and both versions of the 1.3-litre car are rated at 47.9mpg with emissions of either 123 or 124g/km.
The line up also features 2.0-litre CLA 220 variants priced from £32,865 or £34,465 for a four-wheel-drive model while the range tops out with the CLA 250 which develops 224bhp from its 2.0-litre engine.
All models will be initially available with a 7G-DCT seven-speed automatic transmission, with a manual gearbox coming later as will diesel variants.
Equipment includes the Mercedes MBUX multimedia system which has ‘Hey Mercedes' voice recognition and a 10.25-inch digital touchscreen infotainment display.
A Driving Assistance package is available for £1,495 and includes blind spot monitors, emergency braking with a cross-traffic function; active lane-change assist and an evasive steering function.
Range topping AMG Line Premium Plus models add a panoramic sliding sunroof; LED headlights with an adaptive highbeam plus memory seats for the driver and front passenger and the Mercedes Energising pack which uses a number of the car's systems to boost driver fitness and wellbeing.
The CLA Shooting Brake estate was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show and will be going on sale in May.
