CITROEN enthusiasts can help to celebrate the company's centenary by investing in new ‘collector's edition' versions of the C1 and C3 Aircross compact SUV.
The new Origins models follow similar special versions of the C3 and C4 Cactus and, are, says the company, the final models to get an exclusive makeover to celebrate 100 years of the French brand.
Both the new Origins models are available to order now, with production starting in May with the C1 Origins costing £13,830 and the C3 Aircross £19,355 - £1,550 and £1,800 more, respectively, than the models on which they are based. As well as pec enhancements, they feature special bronze colours and graphics.
The C1 Origins comes with 15-inch black alloys and a black bi-tone roof as standard. Inside, there's grey cloth seat upholstery with intricate gold stitched detail and a special ‘Origins' colour pack with bronze air vents, gear stick surround and centre console facia plus unique carpet mats. Outside there's bronze detailing on the door mirrors and rear pillar plus ‘Origins' logos on the doors and tailgate.
Based on the Flair trim level, it boasts plenty of advanced equipment and technology, including a reversing camera, hill start ssist, a seven-inch touchscreen, automatic lights and automatic air conditioning.
The C3 Aircross Origins is based on the Feel trim level and is enhanced with several technical upgrades including Citroën Connect Box with SOS & Assistance, Citroën Connect Nav, Mirror Screen with Android Auto, rear parking sensors, automatic lights and wipers as well as automatic air conditioning and an auto-dimming rear view mirror.
Like the C1 it has a black bi-tone roof as standard along with black 16-inch alloys and bronze highlights inside and out.
