A SPECIAL edition of the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera is being produced by the British sports car maker to mark the company's tie up with James Bond movies.
Finished in olive green the DBS Superleggera specials are decked out to resemble the DBS driven by Bond in the 1969 film On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
And in a nod to the famous 007 agent the car's will have a price tag of £300,007 - a £75,007 premium over the regular model.
Just 50 of the DBS Superleggera special models will be produced to mark the diamond jubilee of the sixth Bond film, which starred George Lazenby.
The special edition DBS Superleggera has a carbon fibre, splitter, aero blade and special diamond turned and forged wheels.
A bespoke metal grille featuring six bright horizontal vanes is fitted at the front of the limited-edition car to replicate the distinctive feature of the DBS featured in the film and the exterior paint surface is enhanced with body coloured cantrails and roof. Bearing commemorative side strakes and unique touches throughout, the car is every inch ‘007'.
On the inside, the DBS Superleggera is trimmed in pure black leather with grey blend Alcantra accents, as in the original 1969 DBS.
The cockpit also has red highligts, inspired by the red trimmed glovebox in the original car, which held 007's telescopic-sight rifle.
Andy Palmer, Aston Martin Lagonda's president and group chief executive officer, said: "Aston Martin is synonymous with James Bond and the DBS from On Her Majesty's Secret Service has provided great inspiration to the team tasked with creating this very special edition.
"This new DBS Superleggera will be an extremely distinguished ‘brute in a suit', designed to capture the essence of the iconic DBS from the 1969 film but with a 5.2 litre twin-turbo V12, 715bhp engine."
The On Her Majesty's Secret Service DBS Superleggera special edition is the latest in a series of 007 inspired Aston Martins, which includes the Goldfinger DB5 continuation and the 2015 DB9 GT Bond Edition.
And in true Bond style, the 50 owners of the latest James Bond Aston will have the option to select a bespoke designed drinks case which fits into the boot space. The black drinks case opens via a bright metal clasp to reveal a matching red felt lined interior, with space for two bottles of Champagne and four champagne flutes.
Deliveries of the special DBS Superleggera are scheduled to start towards the end of the year.
