THE Skoda Kamiq - the Czech brand's smallest SUV - will cost from £17,700 when it arrives in the UK in November.

The company has now announced prices and specification for the 15 model line up which will top out at £25,130 for a 1.6-litre model with a DSG gearbox.

Only one diesel engine is offered in the range which is the 1.6-litre developing 115ps and that costs from £21,835.

A 1.0-litre three cylinder turbo petrol engine with 95ps on tap powers the entry level versions of the Kamiq in all three trim grades with higher powered derivatives offering 115ps available in mid grade SE trim and top level SE models.

They will be joined later by a 1.5-litre TSI Kamiq developing 150ps which will be priced from around £22,000.

Sporty Monte Carlo versions will be joining the line up later in the year.

Alongside the Kodiaq and Karoq, the Kamiq completes Skoda's SUV portfolio and the newcomer has a new look nose featuring split LED headlights.

A touchscreen infotainment system is available on all models and the Kamiq range is front wheel drive only.
