NEW editions of three of Kia's most popular models have been released which brings changes to its Picanto, Stonic and Niro line ups.

The Korean car maker is introducing a new base specification for its Niro plug in hybrid model which brings the price down to £30,265, a decrease of £1,680 over the previous cheapest version.

Also new is a special version of the Picanto supermini while the Stonic compact SUV range is being bolstered with some new paint jobs and wheel designs.

The Picanto Zest is fitted with the same 66bhp 1.0-litre petrol engine Kia already uses in the basic versions of the Picanto and is priced from £12,650.

The Zest model is some £2,000 more than the basic Picanto but comes with a lime paint finish as wheel as 15-inch alloys and a grey artificial leather finish inside.

The Stonic meanwhile adds a new white with red roof finish to the range's Maxx trim level which are powered by 118bhp 1.0-litre turbo petrol engines with either six-speed manual or seven-speed dual clutch semi automatic transmissions.

Prices for the Stonic Maxx are now from £19,055 for the manual and £20,055 for the DCT.
